English: Apple. Polski: Jabłko.

Apples are an old-fashioned fruit we’ve been eating in Virginia for centuries, unlike kiwi and pomegranates and those other fancy newfangled fruits. I’m adding more to my mini orchard next spring, and in the years before I can actually harvest an appreciable amount I’ll hope the neighbors keep sharing with me, and satisfy myself with the great varieties I can find at the farmer’s markets.

I’ve found some great old recipes to revive; I look forward to adding some pictures to the recipes so stay tuned!
