3 large oranges
2 tbsp sugar
3 tsp melted butter
1 cup flour (sifted)
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk

Peel oranges, also removing outer white covering, remove skin from segments, roll in powdered sugar. To beaten egg add milk, butter, flour and baking powder sifted together. Dip orange segments in batter, fry in hot oil. Drain. Add dash powdered sugar and serve hot.
